just shot this on our rooftop, we live several blocks north of ground zero. every year when these beams go up it takes me straight back to 2001. i was sitting in my ap u.s. history class and was only a junior in high school…never forget.
middle school. gym. they wouldn’t tell us what happened, they took a couple of kids out of class and we found out later it was because their parents worked there.
